Some 10 years ago our theatre students were struck with an original idea. Inspired by a dance performance they experienced while at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, the Saint Thomas Academy and Visitation performers took on the challenge of writing and choreographing a dance/movement show of their own. The first production was titled FULL CIRCLE and it was such a rich experience we decided to retain the original name and make it an annual event. Thereafter, VISTA students chose a new theme each year and developed dance-performance pieces as a form of expression. 

Unencumbered by a published script the students are free to interpret, develop, redevelop, access and move fully through the creative process. Students choreograph for peers, all with varying levels of dance experience, with impressive results.

This year our theme is VIRTUOSITY, exploring the search for virtue and spirituality. This theme was chosen specifically as a gift to the Sisters of the Visitation as they celebrate the 400th Anniversary of the order.

We have expanded the program to include live musicians and vocals. Bel Canto and Chamber choir members are also part of the performance expanding our cast to more than 45 members. VIRTUOSITY promises to be a thought-provoking, lively, dynamic experience. We hope you will be able to include Full Circle in your entertainment plans this year.
